Khajjiar is a wonderful slope station situated in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. Regularly known as the Switzerland of India, it is arranged at a height of 1,951 m in the foothills of the Dhauladhar scopes of the Western Himalayas and is a piece of the Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary. It is a well known getaway for experience brandishes in Himachal state and furthermore one of the top Himachal traveler places.

The Nag that is venerated here has a human frame. The stone symbol has a mace in one hand and a khanda, a twofold blade in the other. In the mandapa of the sanctuary one can see the pictures of the Pandavas and Kauravas close to the top of the circumambulatory way. 

 

Khajjiar is likewise called the Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh and fills in as the beginning stage for treks to Chamba, Dalhousie and Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary among others. Khajjiar to Dainkund is a 3.5 km simple to direct trek. The trek begins 6 km from Khajjiar on the Dalhousie-Khajjiar street and finishes at Pholani Devi Temple at Dainkund. This trek with an all around characterized trail and direct rising is an astounding trek for amateurs and youngsters. The trek offers astounding perspectives and an excellent campground. Zorbing is a famous recreational movement amid April and May. 

 

The best time to visit Khajjiar is amid summers, which reaches out from the time of March to June.
